VR_72: EUID code needs to be a valid one according to the BRIS
Recorded as a finding
Official text
EUID code needs to be a valid one according to the BRIS
How it appears in feedback
EUID code needs to be a valid one according to the BRIS
What triggers it
Provider identifier in B_05.01 c0010 declared as EUID was not found in BRIS. In 2025, 58,170 EUIDs were INVALID_EUID_FORMAT vs 2,717 FOUND and 258 NOT_FOUND: nearly all failures were format, not existence. Valid EUIDs contain a dot and start with the 2-letter ISO code of an EEA country (e.g. LUB123456, IEC...); an LEI flagged as EUID is a common mistake.
Templates: B_05.01. Columns: c0010
How to fix it
Pre-check the pattern <ISO2><register>.<number> with the dot; look EUIDs up manually on the European e-Justice BRIS portal (no API).
